Our Ghawazee Coat design was inspired from the Ghawazee dancers, descendants of the Romani gypsies who migrated to Southern Egypt during the medieval times. The Ghawazee dancers were termed “invaders of the heart”. Our Ghawazee coats are made & lined with high quality crushed velvet & embellished with braid trim, gold or silver metallic jacquard trim & romance clasps to match. Lacers are available instead of clasps & provide a more corseted look, as well as a more adjustable & guaranteed fit, which is perfect for weight fluctuations, or if your measurements don’t match perfectly with our size chart. Please see our size chart below, the velvet is non stretch and the coats are made to be fitted. Customized to fit is also available.
